Kristina Lovato, MSW, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Social Welfare at the University of California, Berkeley. Her scholarly work focuses on addressing the needs of families at the intersections of immigration enforcement and child welfare involvement. Prior to entering academia Kristina worked as a clinician in school-based and mental health settings. Kristina earned a doctorate in Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), an MSW from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Anthropology from Saint Mary’s College of California. In her free time, Kristina loves exploring urban cities, mural art, tennis, theater, and film.

Gabriela Santis, MA, MBA is a San Francisco native, a proud federal worker by day and an adventurer by night. She has been enjoying theatrical productions from a wee age and remembers watching a production of Cats and getting hooked. A graduate of UCLA in Latin American Studies and Public Health, she has also worked abroad in multiple NGOs. Gabriela always makes sure to catch a theater show wherever she goes.

Alex Stimmel is a Comparative Literature major at UC Berkeley and a CAL Extern at Theatrius. A native of Los Angeles, she is committed to working in entertainment and screenwriting. READ MORE

Jeanette Quick is an author of fiction, poetry, theater reviews, and thoughts on loose scraps of paper near her desk, and is working on her first novel. Her work has been published in many literary magazines and she is a fiction reader for The Maine Review. READ MORE

Kelly Mou is a wizard, a dystopian protagonist, a cyborg, and occasionally a freshman at CAL, in Theater, Dance and Performance Studies. She is the Creative Director of a club called Theatre 4 Charity. When she’s not playing guitar or writing essays, she’s trying to memorize her monologue the day before it’s performed. Her favorite book is Cats Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, her favorite living artist is Anna Deavere Smith, her favorite dead writer is Samuel Johnson. Her favorite musical is “Rent.”

Daniel Agustin Macri trained as a pianist and composer in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the Juan José Castro Conservatory between 2007 and 2016, performing concerts in halls and conservatories. He also performed as an accompanying pianist for choir, dance, eurythmy, tango, folklore, and jazz. He began his acting journey in 2017, in Germany with refugees at the theatrical improvisation group “Come together” at the Pedagogical University of Heidelberg.

Daniel also graduated as a mental coach for performative disciplines. He then continued to train and perform in physical theater, improvisation, and clowning in Buenos Aires. He is currently on a Fellowship at the Global Brain Health Institute at UCSF, to develop a program to improve mental health through art.

Natasha Munasinghe a Los Angeles native who fell in love with the Bay Area after attending UC Berkeley as an English Major (Class of ’18). She currently lives in Oakland and works at Google. READ MORE

Theo Rosenfeld is a Los Angeles native who is currently studying Media Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He has always loved theater in all its forms and currently is writing his undergraduate thesis.

Hannah Yurke, a former animation producer, moved to the Bay Area from the U.K. 22 years ago, with a degree in Communication and Media from Bournemouth University, U.K. She has written two screenplays, two novels, and story development on her husband’s movie, the horror-thriller Stay Out, Stay Alive.
